An important lesson
The first thing I learned was that I should not read a book linearly and refuse to make progress if I get stuck.
The second thing I learned was that if you put too much on your plate at once, nothing will get done.
The third thing I’ve learned is that it can be a helpful strategy to ask an question or set a general goal and see if you can answer it.
Right now, I want to learn how the web application framework is structured, get a general introduction to applied machine learning, and learn more about differentiable manifolds. I have three current books for these tasks (but obviously I can jump around when necessary).
At least this way I’m not writing 2 page long tasks lists that will change before they ever get accomplished.
